Air Jordan 1 Retro “Cinco De Mayo” Pack

Since 2009 began, we have spotted many Air Jordan 1 Retro colorways such as the Blue Sapphire, the Air Jordan 1 Prom Pack and the Air Jordan 1 Hare Jordan Pack. In addition, the highly anticipated Air Jordan 1 Retro “Cinco De Mayo Pack is set to release this Saturday, May 2nd, 2009.

Although these two sneakers have been labeled a ‘pack’, both pair will officially be sold separately. Both pair are obviously inspired by the Mexican Flag color scheme. One pair features a predominately black suede upper with minimal red and green contrast stitching throughout the base and sole. The white pair uses the same design, yet its base is made of 100% premium leather.

Air Jordan 16.5

Recently, we have seen many Nike hybrids such as the Air 1/2 Cent, the Air Force 180 Hybrid and the Air Tech Challenge Hybrid. In addition, Jordan Brand will try its hybrid hand at an upcoming sneaker dubbed the Air Jordan 16.5.

Although this particular hybrid draws inspirations from both the Air Jordan XVI and the Air Jordan XVII, it seems to take more detail from the XVII. For example, the Air Jordan 16.5 possesses the double row of laceholders as well as a similar model shape of the Air Jordan XVI. However, it does own the patent leather toe box and midsole of the Air Jordan XVII. If you recall, the Air Jordan XVI OG release featured the exact same colorway as this Air Jordan 16.5. Other interesting details include the chrome-like outsole and the word “Jordan” on the mid sole heel in braille. The Air Jordan 16.5 is set to release in November 2009.

Air Jordan 4 Fusion - Mars Blackmon

Here is a detailed look at one of the best looking Fusions we have seen thus far from Jordans Brand; the Air Jordan 4 Fusion - Mars Blackmon! The overall silhouette resembles the Air Jordan 4 (IV) model while they also include a few details of the classic Air Force 1 model. Inspired by the Air Jordan 4 (IV) Retro - Mars Blackmon, they sport a predominantly white leather upper along with red and black accents. They also feature a grated mesh along the sides, along with a translucent midsole which allows the red design to come through. Look for them to release sometime in July, but for now enjoy the pictures.

Pro Bowl AF1

t sucks that some of the dopest kicks never release to the public. Take the 2009 Pro Bowl Nike Air Force 1 for example. As usual, the ‘09 Pro Bowl AF1’s were only given to a handful of Pro Bowl athletes.

The Pro Bowl has always been held in Hawaii, but Miami will host the Pro Bowl next year. These AF1’s pay homage to Hawaii by featuring the state on the side, and Pro Bowl 2009 sits on the tongue. The ‘09 Pro Bowl AF1’s make you forget that Nike made Pro Bowl AF1’s in 2007. Stop your drooling because these are promo only, so hit up your NFL connects and let the hunt begin!

According to Proper, the Dunks have been re-engineered from the bottom up and they feature a new phylon midsole, zoom air, and full length athletic taping along the base. Air Jordan 1 “Prom Pack”

Some of us are old enough to remember forget wearing the OG Bred XI’s to high school prom, but now there is some new flyness for the youngsters out there coming up. Jordan Brand is dropping fresh kicks for you to rock to those upcoming special events in your life. This Air Jordan 1 “Prom Pack” will hit retailers April 18th.

The “Prom Pack” consists of two colorways done up in nearly seamless patent leather, black and white with red accents. These kicks may be called the Prom Pack but would be the perfect get-up for not only prom, but graduation, after parties, and Sneakin’ Into the Club.

Kidz In The Hall Kick It With Reebok, Perform Free Footlocker Show

In celebration of Reebok’s Classic Remix collection, new school rappers will be updating standout ’80s tracks. Kidz in the Hall will be the the first in line, doing their interpretation of Special Ed’s classic “I Got It Made.”

The song will be made exclusively available to customers who purchase footwear from the collection at any Footlocker. A performance from the Duck Down duo at Footlocker’s Times Square location in New York City on Friday (March 13) will kick off the promotion, which will later feature music from Kid Sister and B.O.B.

In related Kidz In The Hall news, the duo has recently released a deluxe edition of their sophomore album, The In Crowd. A digital-only release, it includes two new tracks—the Jay Electronica collaboration “Cool, Relax” and a house remix of “Love Hangover” with Estelle—as well as videos for “Love Hangover” and “Drivin’ Down The Block.” - Devin Chanda

Nike Air Max 95 New Colorways

Plenty of us have been anticipating this year’s Air Max 95 releases. Nike is bringing back some simple tried and true colorways this spring of this classic runner.

The Nike Air Max 95[ returns again in four colorways, of course the Fresh Water colorway we showed you recently is part of the line up. In addition the gradient is teamed up with other accenting colors like Team Orange, Sport Red, and New Green (Neon). These make-ups are ever so slight color variances of previous AM95 releases, like the Neons, Chilis, and Saftey Orange colorways.

Now, and Lance Armstrong have teamed up to launch a global art exhibition that creates a new way to support the Lance Armstrong Foundation and its LIVESTRONG™ Global Cancer Campaign. Lance and Nike CEO, Mark Parker, held an event this weekend in Los Angeles to announce the project, which included a 2-mile ride that ended at the Montalbán Theater.

he Air Elan model contains a 100% full-grain leather upper. It also features a purple inner lining and perforated designs seen on the swoosh, toe box and sides of the toe area. To finish it off, this sneaker is complimented with a printed liner and a crocodile print design on the tongue. Although this sneaker does not contain much detail, the Air Elan is still a very stylish, subtle sneaker.

Air Jordan Championship Pack - Phoenix Suns - Preview

Officially scheduled to release this weekend, here we feature a preview of the Air Jordan Championship Pack - Phoenix Suns. The inspiration behind the pack is the 1993 NBA Finals in which Michael Jordan and the Bulls defeated Charles Barkley. The pack consists of a pair of Air Jordan 6 (Six) Rings and two colorways in the Air Jordan 1 (I) Low Phat model. The Jordan 6 (Six) Rings model sports a white patent leather design at the base of the upper along with detailed illustrations at the top. The Air Jordan 1 (I) Low Phat model comes in two colorways, one which features a black upper and the other a white one, respectively. All three consist of orange and purple accents, matching the color scheme of the Phoenix Suns.

The Nike Zoom Soldier III are in a black, red and white colorway. From what I hear the soldier III is a lightweight, performance packed sneaker and with the smooth lines, and success of the previous Soldier releases, Nike looks to have created another masterpiece.
